Lee-Eric's creative fingerprint extends into advertising and packaging design for urban artists, collaborating with brands such as Dreamworks Entertainment, Ruffhouse Entertainment, Vivendi-Universal and CodeBlack Entertainment. His designs elevate brands through captivating aesthetics.

After his college athletic career, Donald Brady began his professional journey with Apple Computer in their facilities department. This experience ignited his entrepreneurial spirit, leading him to establish his own company, which he has successfully operated for over 40 years.
​
Donald’s extensive expertise, forward-thinking approach, and deep industry experience have allowed him to collaborate with major corporations, including Apple, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Dell, EMC, and others. In these collaborations, he has taken on various key roles, including Facilities Service Manager, Partner, Project Manager, and Consultant, significantly contributing to the success of these industry giants.

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Donald’s career has spanned diverse roles such as warehouse worker, supervisor, and project manager. His vast experience includes overseeing household and office furniture moves across multiple states, managing MAC (Moves, Adds & Changes) services for large corporations, and coordinating office relocations for up to 5,000 employees in conjunction with ongoing construction projects.

Dr. Rob Brooks, PhD - Entomological Consultant (Our Bees Expert)
Dr. Rob Brooks is a distinguished entomologist with a profound background in honey bee genomics and a PhD in Entomology from UC Davis. His advanced degree work was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Charles D. Michener at the University of Kansas, where he collaborated with the foremost authority on bees worldwide for 22 years. For fourteen of those years, Dr. Brooks served as the Curator of Entomology at the Natural History Museum at KU, a period during which he authored three influential books and approximately 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles on bees.
Among Dr. Brooks' most significant contributions is his role in sequencing the honey bee genome, a groundbreaking project that identified key genes related to bee behavior, health, and social organization. His research has greatly enhanced our understanding of the intricate dynamics of bee colonies and their vital role in global ecosystems.
Currently, Dr. Brooks is working under a United States Department of Agriculture grant through the Sustainability Agriculture Research and Education program. His project focuses on relocating urban bees to rural settings and developing a Midwestern repository of Varroa mite-resistant bees, addressing critical challenges facing bee populations today.

Based at META in Lawrence, Kansas, Dr. Brooks continues to advance the field of entomological science with a focus on the preservation and sustainability of bee populations. In "Mother Earth & Me - The Immersive Experience," he serves as the Entomological Consultant, where his deep expertise in honey bee biology and genetics informs the creation of educational and interactive exhibits, fostering a greater appreciation for bees and their indispensable role in maintaining the balance of our planet's ecosystems.

​​Dr. Maureen Powers, EDd - Visionary Thought Leader, Grant Administrator
With over three decades of experience dedicated to enhancing education and social service organizations, her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of families and children has shaped her illustrious career.
​
With a robust background spanning pre-K to higher education, Dr. Powers has served as a practitioner, college faculty member, and administrator. Her expertise lies in strategic analysis of systems and human capital, which she leverages to build and enhance programs and organizations.
​
Currently, Dr. Powers serves as a full-time faculty member in Child and Family Studies & Elementary Teacher Education at Solano Community College. Before this role, she was an adjunct faculty member for over seven years, teaching extraordinary students in the Child Development and Family Studies department.
​
In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Powers is the CEO of Knowledge MPowers, a consulting firm that empowers educational organizations to deliver effective programs and services. With over two decades of experience, she specializes in special education, early care and education, and higher education.
​
Dr. Powers has also contributed significantly to Maricopa Community Colleges as an adjunct faculty member for over two decades, actively engaging students in learning course objectives and critical thinking.
​
Her tenure at Rio Salado College as a course developer and Senior Manager/Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness reflects her commitment to innovative education. Dr. Powers played a pivotal role in designing and developing courses for Early Childhood Education and Human Development programs, both online and traditional formats.
​
Dr. Powers holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership from the American College of Education, where she graduated with distinction. She also earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Northern Arizona University, emphasizing adult and continuing education.
​

John Ike Brady - Executive Advisor and Human Resource Executive (Retired)

John Ike Brady is a seasoned human resource executive with over 30 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, Kraft General Foods, Altria, and Payless ShoeSource. Throughout his career, Ike held leadership roles in employee relations, labor relations, staffing, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and human resources. His work spanned international responsibilities across the United States, Mexico, Asia, Canada, and South America.
​
Ike’s approach to human resources emphasized the intrinsic value of aligning personal goals with company expectations, rather than simply focusing on policy compliance, legal requirements, or financial targets. This philosophy not only contributed to the success of the companies he worked for but also fostered satisfied employees and a strong sense of corporate social responsibility.
​
In addition to his professional achievements, Ike has been actively involved in various charitable organizations, including the NAACP, Urban League, and the YMCA, serving as a committee member, board member, and advisor. He continues his commitment to community service in retirement through his work with the University of Kansas Community Partners.
​
Born and raised in the Midwest, Ike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southwestern University in Kansas and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rockhurst University in Missouri. He also earned a certification in Labor Relations from Michigan State University.
